Sailors Valentine Pendants

I have been fascinated with sailors valentines forever! I was inspired to make some little pendants based on them...

Remember those little Hagen-Reneker ceramic figurines? I use to love them so much! I don't see them very often anymore. Knots Berry Farm had a shop that sold hundreds of them, and they were always just a few dollars each.

These two are some of my favorites. They remind me of the mermaids in Disney's Peter Pan.

Moving Forward

Here I am, trying to get back on track with my blog. I didn't realize how much time has went by since I posted anything. I hate to say it, but I think the problem ids that I get easily discouraged. Maybe it's a self esteem thing. I sometimes wonder if I have any useful or entertaining ideas to contribute. I was going through my favorite blogs the other day and thought that just perhaps others felt this way as well. Maybe a way to get over feelings of self doubt is to just move forward!
